Candida Diet Or Food Plan That I Am On – Tips and Advice

This article about diet is actually based on a question asked to me from a friend. She was asking what candida diet or food plan am I on? She is interested in starting one. Her candida is getting worse, and not only that, interfering with her sleep pattern, she can’t get out of the bed, and sex is also painful!

She wants to be yeast free. It just seems so overwhelming reading about all that is involved when fighting candida. If she ever has children, she is going to do all she can to start them on a healthy eating regimen that they won’t get candida or anything else than is prevented by a healthy lifestyle. Anyway, she just wants to know about the diet. She wants to start, as soon as possible.

She was reading that people with candida should stay away from fungi, mushroom, fermented stuff and all that; but should eat plenty of non-sweetened, plain yoghurt. So she can start with that right now.

The candida diet is actually available on loads of websites. It is really simple though:

No sugar
Nothing fermented, pickled, or stale
Nothing with yeast, molds, fungus

That’s it really. All the things you can’t have come in one of those categories ie, soy sauce, bacon, Marmite, peanuts and pistachios (contain mold) vinegar, cheese, bread, mushrooms, wine, etc.

To be really strict, and I recommend this, also give up cow’s milk and margarine. Margarine is so full of chemicals, use butter.

The yoghurt needs to be live acidophilus stuff. Get organic, it tastes much nicer.

You can have cottage cheese (YUM) and riccota or any other fresh wet cheese, just not the hard ones which are fermented.
